Senior/Graduation Information
Class of 2026 Graduation Items
Caps and gowns were distributed in late March. Please call Mrs. Williams at 740-587-8137 in the GHS office if your student does not have their cap and gown! Please note, unless purchased in the last two years, previous navy gowns cannot be worn at graduation.
Senior Awards Night
If graduation is a ceremony for the parents and families of our graduates, Senior Awards Night is for the seniors! Each senior is welcomed to the theater stage where they are recognized individually, including major scholarship awards and favorite memories from their years at GHS.
Note: Mrs. Simmons is currently working on the PowerPoint that will be played both at the Senior Awards night and at Graduation. The PowerPoint will have both a younger picture (before age 5) as well as his/her senior photo. If your child has not yet submitted the younger photo, please email this to Mrs. Simmons ASAP. The senior photo may be the one taken at school or one that your student provides to the senior class officers via the Google document sent to them on Schoology. Unlike the Senior Awards night PowerPoint, the graduation PowerPoint will just contain the senior photo. If you have questions, please reach out to Mrs. Simmons at esimmons@granvilleschools.org.

May 4th - Graduation Tickets Available
Please use Hometown Ticketing to access your graduation tickets. Tickets go live at 10:00 am on Monday, May 4th. As a reminder, each graduate is allotted 10 tickets. You will have until Monday, May 18th to reserve your seats. At that time, any available seats will be release for general public reservations. In the past few years, we have had several hundred seats available for families after our initial requests were made.
Each graduate is allotted 10 tickets using their student ID number (lunch code). In case of inclement weather, we will move the ceremony into the GHS gymnasium. Due to limited space, the number of student tickets available will be reduced to 5 per graduate (ceremony will be livestreamed as well). If a change is to be made, we will make an announcement no later than the afternoon of Saturday, May 23rd. At that time, a new link will be shared for families to reserve tickets inside the gym. However, all efforts will be made to keep the ceremony outdoors so more family members can attend.
Handicap accessible seating for Graduation is available in both the home and visitor bleachers. One common issue we have each year at graduation is the availability of parking. The baseball lot (located behind home bleachers) has been expanded in recent years and provides more accessibility to families. We will have a GPD officer at the entrance to ensure only those with a displayed handicap sticker will be able to park in that lot. We do have limited amount of handicapped parking in the GHS main lot, but those spots fill quickly. We have arranged for golf carts to help transport families from the parking lot to the stadium.
Suggestion: If you choose a seat on the home side of the stadium, please plan to arrive early to park in the baseball lot. Once those spots are taken you can still use the lot to drop off family members at the back gate and then go to the main lot to park. If sitting in the visitor stands, please drop off your family member by the main gate prior to parking to limit the amount of travel needed.
